Community can be defined as “a group of people with a common interest living together within a larger society or an interacting population of various kinds of individuals in a common location”.
At Hadley Design “Community Design” is defined as “a holistic design process that encompasses and addresses every physical aspect of community while creating harmonious places for people to interact, enjoy and live”.
We plan communities to include an appropriate mix of land uses as well as provide amenity, recreational, institutional and educational opportunities. Both urban and suburban design forms are often intermixed within the same project. At Hadley Design we believe in and strive to create livable, dynamic and holistic communities. Special care is taken to combine and balance the variety of uses within the project and integrate the project into the community at large. We accomplish this through the use of a “systemic” series of time, field and market-proven methods and sound planning principles.
Hadley Design achieves high quality and sustainable Community Design at any project scale by utilizing planning and design theory combined with real world experience that creates timeless design for the ages.
